DIA cuts debt to central bank by 9.2 bln rbl to 227 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has repaid 9.2 billion rubles of its debt to the central bank with the remaining debt amounting to 227 billion rubles, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.
Of the sum, 8 billion rubles was spent to repay core debt and 1.2 billion rubles interest.
The central bank opened a credit line for the DIA in 2015–2017 to maintain the deposit insurance fund. The DIA received 842 billion rubles out of the approved limit of 1.03 trillion rubles.
